The following are pictures from our overnight camp-out and family retreat that was held Friday
June 8th and Saturday June 9th. It was a wonderful time of fellowship as we shared this time together.
Tent assembly and arrangement area
Tent assembly by Senior Bishop Harris and Harryl Cottrell
Fun and games before dark. Here the youth try to throw a tennis ball through the hole in the catchers glove to score points.
Even at their close range, this wasn't as easy as it might look. But they all enjoyed pitching the balls.
They enjoyed volleyball and basketball. After dark they enjoyed an outdoor evangelistic film on our 20 square feet projection
screen. Immediately after the film presentation, all were treated to a cookout.
Several of t he ladies of the church stayed over night during the camp-out, and they had their own personal tent to enjoy.
Seen in this picture is our Multipurpose Building, and inside this building Senior Bishop Harris removed all chairs from the
auditorium and erected a small server tent so that they could feel a part of the camp-out...
However, they slept in recliners
brought from the pastor's office at our main worship center...

Darkness didn't stop their activities, they shoot basketball in our lighted parking lot

The young people competed to see who could stay awakelongest. At 3:30 a.m. they were wide awake laughing and talking
to one another between the tents. They had loads of fun during this camp-out...
